Bitter PieWomen are certainly luckier in this one regard: we look better in men’s clothes. We can pull off the ties, the long t-shirts, the uber-baggy jeans, even the underwear. Men can’t do the same with g-strings.
Bitter Pie reminds us that unisex favors women. Their recent comical design of Bomb BoyStyle underwear for women is a classic cotton white brief with ample crotch space. Packed with amusing sexual innuendo, the crotch area is loaded with the figure of a tiny, black rocket ship that is stamped with a dollar sign and heading straight down. The connotation fails to launch past anyone. And don’t worry, the ship’s not small enough to emasculate the woman wearing it.
Sizes come in large, giving it a flexible waistband that doesn’t cling. For those of you who are paranoid of parading panty lines, I suggest wearing them around the house with a t-shirt or a tank top. I found them most comfortable on warm stay-in nights or even on day hours spent inside the house, telecommuting. It’s nice to have comfortable indoor underwear in the privacy of our home; it makes up a little for all the uncomfortable underwear worn outdoors in the privacy of our clothes.
